After the Public Call was completed, the Committee selected the users of the GROW Accelerator services. The Accelerator starts with activities in the first week of March.

Through training, mentoring, meetup, Startup Weekend and Growth Hackathon, the selected participants of the accelerator will have the opportunity to improve their knowledge in the field of development of high-tech business.

GROW Accelerator Pilot Project is implemented by the Development Agency of Serbia in cooperation with the Business Incubator Novi Sad within the Danube Transnational Program. GROW Pilot Project is implemented within the Project “Developing accelerators to provide better access to innovation finance for SMEs – ACCELERATOR”, financed by the European Commission within the Danube Transnational Programme.

The overall objective of the ACCELERATOR Project is to improve access to financial resources for innovation by improving the institutional framework and relevant policy instruments through the development of practical solutions for acceleration services.

In the following period, GROW will organize the following activities:

• 5 March, Business Incubator Novi Sad – the first training within the GROW Accelerator. Name of the training is “Business Model Development”, and the trainees will learn how to transform their idea into a business model and why it is important.
•  6 March, Business Incubator Novi Sad – the second part of the training “Business Model Development”, where the participants will create their business model.
• 7 March, Business Incubator Novi Sad – meetup on “Position of Women in IT Industry?”, where participants will learn about the work of women in this field and their everyday challenges.
• 8, 9 and 10 March, Business Incubator Novi Sad - Startup Weekend in Novi Sad – at this 54-hour festival of entrepreneurship, the participants of the GROW Accelerator will have an opportunity to test their business model.
